Barossa Cellar Wine Interpretive Centre, Barossa Valley SA

Drafter 

Barossa Cellar Wine Interpretive Centre was a large premium structure constructed largely from stone, steel and concrete: 

  • Collaboration with architect and careful detailing approach to achieve long open spans with thin multi-pitch roofing. 

  • Bespoke timber features requiring out the box design and detailing. 

  • Large areas of polished concrete floors which required 2-pour raft construction to maximise crack control. 

  • The structure was cut into the natural ground with integrated full height pre-cast concrete retaining walls.

Klemzig Village, SA

Drafter 

A large multi-storey medical centre that was constructed largely from full height precast concrete walls, suspended bondek slabs & steel framing: 

  • Drafting and documentation of new construction. 

  • Detail of load bearing precast panel walls hung off the side of a suspended concrete floor. 

  • Collaboration with architect to achieve desired steel trussed fascia’s being used for signage and aesthetics. 

  • Careful collaboration with relevant sectors to ensure columns are avoiding critical areas.
